A Batangueno, Col (ret.) Ramon Arguelles Limjoco, 88 years old, receives Balisong Plaque of acknowledgement from Secretary of National Defense, Secretary Hermogenes Ebdame, for being the oldest living PAF Alumnus. It was presented at Fernando Airbase, Lipa, Batangas. He was awarded the Plaque for his integral participation in the Philippine Air Force Flying School Alumni Association Incorporation (PAAFSAAI).
The Plaque contains a Balisong (butterfly knife), which originated in France as the fan knife, and was first handcrafted in Barrio Balisong, Taal Batangas. It is a product of local craftsmanship and ingenuity of the Filipino sense of “Bayanihan” depicting the spirit of unity and cooperation. It symbolizes the Batanguenos virtue of chivalry and courage.
Philippine Air Force, oldest living Alumnus, Col. Limjoco recently retired to the beautiful Subic Bay Philippines with his American wife Helen, to be near his only daughter Diana J. Limjoco, CFO –President Web Division of Digital Web Group, Inc. DWG, Inc., is a successful U.S. E-commerce Corporation based in Tucson, Arizona. Ms. Limjoco manages her U.S corporation from the comfort of her home in Subic Bay.
